Send Messages from the Dashboard

Compose and send iMessages using the Coop web dashboard.

Send a new message

  1. Go to Messages in the sidebar
  2. Click New Message
  3. Enter the recipient — a phone number (+15551234567), Apple ID email, or an existing group conversation
  4. Type your message
  5. Optionally attach files (up to 10 per message)
  6. Click Send

The message enters the queue and your connected Mac picks it up. Status updates appear in real-time.

Choose which phone number to send from

If your organization has multiple phone numbers registered (from different Macs), select the sender number in the compose view. If you don't pick one, Coop uses whatever number is on the Mac that processes the message.

Reply to a conversation

Click any conversation in the message list to open the thread. Type your reply at the bottom and hit Send. The reply goes through the same queue and delivery flow.

View delivery status

Each outgoing message shows its current status inline:

  • Queued — waiting for a Mac to pick it up
  • Processing — Mac is sending it via iMessage
  • Sent — iMessage accepted it
  • Delivered — the recipient's device confirmed receipt
  • Failed — delivery failed after retries

Click a failed message to see the error details.

Search conversations

Use the search bar at the top of the message list to filter by participant name, phone number, or email. The list updates as you type.
